Vladamir, the Dark Champion

So, I just painted Epic Vlad for Adam. He's pretty Awesome-Sauce, more so than normal Vlad, I'd say. I like my paint job, as well as the sculpt, more. His sword is a lot more glowy and it reflects onto his hair and armor and stuff like that. Anyway, I have this out of the way now, so I can focus on my two models that I'm painting for competitions, one for a local contest run by Paul and Dallas, and the other the No Quarter Challenge.

I Don't Know What to Call This Post

Adam and I have decided to play a string of games with an underlying storyline, creating special rules and scenarios to fit, and blog about them, writing mainly in story format. So, here is my first attempt:

Points: 350

My list:
Thagrosh
Angelius
Typhon

Adam's list:
Sorscha
Beast-09
Juggernaut

The thing that was once Ogrun marched across the tundra, still reveling in the slaughter of the weakling Menite scout party. Thagrosh had thought everyone dead, but an anxious sensation from the mind of Typhon told him otherwise, and he knew to trust the beast's senses above his own eyes. He had planned to rejoin Lylyth and Vayl soon, but where there were scouts, there was likely a larger force waiting for their information, and The Messiah's bloodlust was far from sated.
A few minutes later, he spotted two warjacks led by a diminutive female caster with a large hammer. One of the 'jacks had a massive ice axe in one hand and Thagrosh knew it from past battles to be Sorscha's pet, Beast. Thagrosh imparted to his Angelius, as yet unseen by the enemy warband, to wait behind the small copse of trees to his right, as he and Typhon marched around to the left to meet them head-on.
Thagrosh sensed a magical energy eminating from the warcaster before he saw the storm erupt from her outstreched hand. He braced himself, but was nonetheless brought to his knees by the tempest, as was his three-headed monstrosity. He saw the unidentified 'jack, probably a Juggernaut, move out to his right, and realized it's mistake immediately. Now! he mentally screamed to his assassin lurking in the shadow of the woods. The Angelius shot out of the trees and impaled the Juggernaut's arm, rendering it useless. Thagrosh saw and felt it die as Beast-09 ran to it and cut it in half, but he wasn't done with the beast yet. "Rise," he commanded the dead thing, and to the visible astonishment of Sorcha, it did, the seemingly dead body mending even as it got up and flew toward its master.
The distraction, however, cost Thagrosh dearly. He look to his left and saw Sorscha standing not ten feet from him. How did she slip past Typhon?! His question was answered as he looked to the dreaded beast, now covered in a thick layer of ice. He tried to rush toward the enemy caster, but was stopped dead in his tracks as he, too, was rapidly frozen.
Helpless, Thagrosh could only look on as Beast came up and rammed Typhon with the full force of its body. The three-headed dragon was severely wounded, as was the Angelius, crushed under Typhon's might bulk. Beast ended the might dragon with his frozen axe just before the Juggernaut slammed into Beast and sent him careening toward Thagrosh himself, but the big 'jack fell short and Thagrosh was unharmed. Sorscha then appeared behind the Angelius and finished it off.
Enough, I will end this myself, thought the dragon-Ogrun monstrosity, quickly thawing as he moved around the downed Beast and engaged Sorscha.
" I am Everblight. You cannot escape me!" he roared at the woman as he brought the Rapture, his massive double-bladed sword, to bear. The blade came down and cut deep into her shoulder. Thagrosh raised it again for a killing blow, a look of pure ecstacy on his face at the thought of cleaving this puny human in half. The sword came down, but hit nothing but air. The warlock half turned, a confused expression on his face, but then a heavy blow landed on his head and he knew no more.
